At the end of the programme the student should be able to attain the following learning outcomes:

Programme Learning Outcomes (PLO)

The Programme Educational Objectives of Diploma in Quantity Surveying programme are to produce graduates who are:

  • To prepare graduates with the fundamental knowledge and understanding of concepts, theories and approaches of business administration and management of business.
  • To provide graduates with an opportunity to develop communication, interpersonal, leadership and teamwork skills as well as a solid understanding of the contemporary business environment.
  • To develop and contribute importance good business characters, positive ethical conduct and legally for personal, profession and community.
  • To synthesize knowledge from business and related disciplines in the acquisition of business knowledge, competencies and values for professional roles.
  • To analyze, evaluate and compute the development and process of important aspects in business for decision-making purpose.
  • To apply professional knowledge and experience in seeking business solution toward goal accomplishment.
  • To process and interpret information with the use of technological resources including online/offline databases in anticipating the current and future business trends.
  • To design appropriate and effective strategies in implementing comprehensive business plan that will enable the business to succeed.

Entry Requirements

  • Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) : Min. 2 principal passes (C) including credits in Maths & ENG at SPM level
  • GCE A-Levels : Min. 2 principal passes (C)
  • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) : Min. 5 Credits (B6)
  • Foundation / Matriculation / Diploma : Min. CGPA 2.00
  • Canadian Pre-University (CPU) : Min. average of 60%
  • South Australian Matriculation (SAM) / New South Wales Higher School Certificate (NSW HSC) : Min. average of 60%
  • Other Qualifications :
  • Students with other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis
