Executive College Students Learn About Self-devt At Camp
16 November 2017, KUCHING: Executive College (EC) Department of Diploma in Business Administration programme and Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) programme recently conducted a dynamic Self-Development Camp 2017at Sumiran Eco Camp, Rantau Panjang about 30 minutes’ drive from Kuching City.
The camp was facilitated by the Business Department’s experienced lecturers Valerie Leong, Chai Chin Siew, Tan Lee Lee, Esther Voon, Victor Voon and Emerline Carol, and trainers from Sumiran Eco Camp.
Executive College believes that it is important to equip students with leadership and communication skills to prepare them for today’s workforce.
The lecturers are passionate about creating fun and challenging learning experiences for the students to acquire skills and knowledge necessary to work in the industry.
Students at the camp get to learn and experience new skills and knowledge that classrooms may not provide, especially the importance of communication and leadership skills.
Overall, the camp was tiring but everyone had the opportunity to have fun and learn from one another.
Students enjoyed themselves and had a positive relationship with course mates and lecturers. It was meaningful for everyone involved.
EC plans to organise more educational and fun camps like this to give students hands-on knowledge and experience in their field of studies.
